If you want to rely on smart control for your lighting project, the BB-Sets DALI are the perfect solution. DALI stands for Digital Addressable Lighting Interface and is a manufacturer-independent protocol for controlling lighting control gear. Anyone wishing to control their luminaires via a digital standard should use DALI interfaces. The particular advantage is that up to 64 devices can be controlled with one system. Each luminaire can be controlled individually and lighting scenes can be saved.

In classic dimming via touch or rotary dimmers with a three-core supply cable (L / N / PE), trailing edge phase dimming is usually used, whereby the periodic alternating voltage is interrupted at the end of each sine half-wave. Depending on the desired dimming level, the operated luminaire is operated for approximately one hundredth of a second and then switched off again (ta).

This method was originally used to dim temperature spotlights (incandescent lamps, halogen lamps, etc.). As there are no universal standards for phase dimmers for LED lamps, it is essential to ensure that the selected trailing edge phase dimmer is also compatible with the LED modules. The Brumberg BB sets with trailing edge phase dimming provide a remedy here and are guaranteed to be compatible with each other.
