As soon as the coronavirus restrictions allow, the Brumberg field service offers short seminars directly in the customer's company parking lot.

For more than a year now, traditional training concepts with large customer groups at the plant in Sundern or locally have been almost impossible to implement. "The idea is basically as simple as it is ingenious. We pack our car with our highlight products, sample cases, catalog documents such as the project catalog and other information material and drive to our customers," says General Sales Manager Frank Lamontagne, describing the concept. A large umbrella and a radiant heater provide protection against rain or cold. "We want to stay in contact with our customers as far as possible. This networking and mutual proximity is what makes the partnership between Brumberg, the trade and wholesalers so special," he explains. The training courses are then carried out by the Brumberg field service on the company parking lot of the trade business or wholesaler. In this way, Brumberg is able to move closer to its customers despite the lockdown and numerous restrictions.

With this on-site format at the customer's premises, Brumberg is deliberately providing a counterpoint to the various digital training courses, webinars and online meetings that have sprung up over the past year. "We see a high demand for face-to-face meetings, especially during the pandemic. Of course, we are observing social distancing and hygiene rules, but no web meeting can replace direct customer contact. It shouldn't always be digital," says Frank Lamontagne about the current situation. Brumberg is using the pandemic as an opportunity to further intensify direct dialog with its customers. "We are open to constructive discussions and the input of each of our partners. Only with this feedback can we constantly improve," says Frank Lamontagne, describing the importance of direct customer contact. To ensure that these on-site appointments are safe for everyone, Brumberg provides participants with face masks and disinfectant.
