According to an initial estimate, 4.8 to 12.7 million tons of plastic waste end up in the sea every year - that's about one truckload per minute. Fishing nets also damage the fauna and flora of our oceans and take up to 6 centuries to completely disintegrate. One way to offset at least some of the pollution is to collect and recycle this carelessly discarded raw material.

The path to reusable, high-quality plastic begins, for example, with the collection of discarded fishing nets from beaches and coasts. These are then cleaned, sorted, shredded and processed into recycled polyamide. The result is a material that meets the highest quality standards and is used primarily in high-tech applications.

re:use.

The recessed ceiling spotlight offers maximum scope for flexibility. Depending on the lighting requirements, customers can choose from over 30 different LED modules with a wide range of technologies from our company. Customers also have the option of opting for the LOOP® set. This consists of the Ocean-Plastic housing, phase-dimmable converter with Ocean-Plastic converter housing and 5 W LED module with 3,000 K. Important for an overall positive environmental balance: all parts of the luminaire are recyclable and the packaging is also environmentally friendly thanks to plastic-free materials.
