It is now well known that the prevailing light conditions in the environment influence human well-being. The light intensities and colors that are perceived as pleasant depend on the time of day, the activity and the amount of daylight. For lighting control, this means a high degree of flexibility and the possibility of individual control. Brumberg luminaires can be used in many areas and can be embedded in the KNX world, so light can be optimally integrated into building automation. Light colors and spectra, but also color saturation and intensity can be changed and controlled. Thus, the lighting conditions can be adjusted according to requirements.

Integrate light into building automation.
In addition to the RGB color space (red, green, blue), the entire range of white light from 2,000 to 10,000 Kelvin can be continuously controlled. The light spectra and colors can also be controlled depending on the time of day, the color saturation and intensity as well as the speed of the color gradient. To combine good lighting solutions with the advantages of intelligent building control, Brumberg cooperates with Gira and Jung. Via the respective software, the lighting control system is integrated into the KNX system of the building automation and, if necessary, extended with DALI controllers.
A corresponding light color can thus be added to match the selected temperature. In this way, completely different moods can be created. All functions are visualized on the touchscreens of the room control units and can thus be controlled; regulation via remote control, PC, tablet or smartphone is also possible. In this way, residents and users can design their basic settings and lighting scenes as they wish.
