TRILUX and BRUMBERG use synergies in sales and distribution

Arnsberg/Sundern, October 2018 - Cooperation, collaboration and networking have been the entrepreneurial success principle of lighting experts TRILUX and BRUMBERG to this day. The two Sauerland-based companies are now using the advantages of this partnership even more intensively: the "neighbors" will cooperate specifically in sales and exploit commonalities from 08 October.

The lighting industry today is characterized by intense competition, partnerships and networks, on the other hand, are an important part of a sustainable orientation. These work all the better with a common background: the two companies in the lighting industry are only 14 kilometers apart as the crow flies - TRILUX is based in Arnsberg, BRUMBERG in Sundern.

From October onwards, the regionally rooted medium-sized companies will increasingly face the internationally increasing competition with their future-oriented and at the same time value-oriented approach: Listening to the customer, offering reliable product quality, an innovative claim and professional service when it comes to advice and delivery times - this is what matters, says Michael Blum Managing Director Sales Germany at TRILUX. "This is exactly what can be intensified with a long-term sales cooperation," Blum explains.

"We speak the same language and share entrepreneurial actions as well as a down-to-earth way of thinking," explain Benedikt and Johannes Brumberg. The brothers are the fifth generation to run the business of the company, which has around 120 employees. Even though the two companies differ significantly in terms of size, they have many things in common. The scope of the project is clearly defined: The cooperation is a joint project and is limited to certain products.

The BRUMBERG field service will now also have TRILUX luminaires from the exclusive wholesale portfolio in their luggage during their visits to the trade. This way TRILUX gets a better access to the trade in order to strengthen the three-stage distribution channel in the future.

In return, the TRILUX project consultants also place BRUMBERG products that are relevant for the project business when visiting planning offices. The luminaire manufacturer BRUMBERG thus becomes more present here and opens up new target groups.

Both companies use the channels in which they are strongest: BRUMBERG with the trade, TRILUX with the planner. In terms of personnel and structure, the respective existing resources and contacts are used and intensified. This creates synergies from which both companies benefit equally. At the same time, both remain what they are: two profitable Sauerland companies cooperating as partners. "We trust each other," say the representatives of TRILUX and BRUMBERG - the best basis for working together at suitable interfaces.
