Remarkable and with high creative potential3
In the planning and implementation of the new company headquarters, the interior specialist K3 Raumkonzept from Bedburg Hau has riveted around sophisticated, extravagant architecture and interior design throughout. People have given free rein to their creativity with ambition and passion as is evident even from the outside. There is transparency thanks to large glass surfaces, reduced LED light, and unobtrusive exposed concrete walls that provide room to draw attention to the ingenious lines. The upper floor is enthroned as a large wedge on the ground floor and attracts the eye towards the interior. It was designed by Planwerkstatt, an internationally renowned specialist for brand architecture. K3 has taken up the building's design vocabulary with its asymmetries and transferred it to the interior. The white spaces are on display. We see white ceilings, walls, floors, white LED light and desks that are as asymmetrical and sloping as the building shell. Dark doors and shelves as well as wooden objects provide stark contrasts. The eye immediately picks up on the interesting environment, always seeking and discovering new ideas and details.
Weykamp and Brumberg.
In this project, the company Weykamp Elektrotechnik from Kleve shouldered the responsibility for the lighting design. The particular challenge was to find a lighting solution that would do justice to the demanding project in terms of aesthetics and functionality. The use of standard task lighting, for instance, by louvre luminaires, was ruled out from the outset. In terms of design, they soon found the solution they were looking for. A Brumberg LED ceiling surface-mounted luminaire (12075183) in the form of a dark cube was a perfect match for the lines and the theme of setting dark accents in the white space. Now, in addition to the design, the task was to find the right light for the room in order to achieve optimum ergonomic working conditions in terms of good, bright working light at the desk. The Brumberg LED ceiling surface-mounted luminaire used is equipped with a 3,000 K, warm white LED illuminant. However, that somehow did not match the room setting and would not have been a good choice for a working light. Brumberg therefore developed a solution and converted the luminaire to 4,000 K (neutral white) especially for this project.
This has resulted in a stellar lighting solution that perfectly matches the façade and interior and provides beautiful, no-glare working light. To sum up, it can be said that the interplay of all these elements has given birth to a whole range of creativity. And the result speaks for itself.
