RGBW – discover the difference

In addition to the RGB colour space, the self-contained RGBW LED-lighting system has an adjustable white light range of 2000 to 10000 Kelvin.

Thanks to this system expansion, precise control of the Planck curve within the RGB colour triangle is possible. Light colour and light intensity can be controlled with various control elements such as remote control, PC or SmartPhone without additional software. Thus, for example, browser-based control using LAN / WLAN is possible.

The usage of RGBW-LEDs offers the possibility of positively influencing human biorhythms by changing light colour and intensity, which can increase the feeling of well-being. The power of concentration and thus the performance capability are increased, making it possible to work more efficiently. In answer to questions asked by the South Westphalia Polytechnic, test persons confirmed the assumption that persons in a room with RGBW lighting do not feel as listless and tired as they would in a room with conventional lighting. This newly designed lighting technology offers a pleasant and natural light which is distributed evenly throughout the room.

In addition, sufficient brightness is guaranteed without any glare. Thus this new development is not only ideally suited for decorative lighting with colour dynamics, but also for technical room lighting in the desired colour temperature range of 2000 to 10000 Kelvin.
